The Learning tab is a built-in gamified learning platform inside the editor. Learn Unreal Engine concepts and plugin features through structured courses, earn XP, level up, and compete on the leaderboard.
Courses
Courses are organized as visual skill trees with interconnected nodes. Each node is a lesson, milestone, or challenge. Complete prerequisites to unlock the next nodes.
Available Courses
- Getting Started - Install, setup, and create your first Blueprint
- Learn Unreal Engine 5 - Variables, events, functions, and core engine concepts
- Architect Mode - Game design docs, feature planning with AI
- Blueprint Generation - Master all 1050+ generation tools
More courses will be added over time.
Node Types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Lesson | A learning topic with optional video content |
| Milestone | A checkpoint that requires completing multiple prerequisites |
| Challenge | An advanced task that tests your skills |
XP and Leveling
- Earn XP by completing nodes
- XP amounts vary by difficulty (50-500 per node)
- Level up as you accumulate XP
- Your level determines your title

Daily Streaks
Log in daily to maintain your streak. The plugin tracks consecutive days of activity.
Leaderboard
Compete with other users globally. The leaderboard ranks by total XP and level.
Achievements
Certain actions automatically unlock achievements. Using specific tools for the first time, completing courses, and reaching milestones all contribute to your achievement collection.
Auto-Detection
The learning system automatically detects when you use certain tools in the Architect view. For example, generating your first Blueprint or creating a material can automatically mark the corresponding learning node as complete.
