Giveaway Rules

V2 launch giveaway: official rules

1. Who runs it

The giveaway is run by BlueprintsLab, the makers of Ultimate Engine CoPilot and gamedevcore.com. Questions go to blueprints.lab@gamedevcore.com.

2. When

Entries open on September 30, 2026 at 2:19 PM UTC and close on October 8, 2026 at 2:19 PM UTC. Entries made outside that window do not count.

3. Who can enter

Anyone with a GameDev Core account can enter, including people who owned the plugin before V2. Creating an account is free. One entry per person: entries from multiple accounts belonging to the same person, or made automatically, are disqualified. The giveaway is void where the law does not allow it.

4. No purchase necessary

Entering is free. Buying a license, a plan or a token pack does not add entries and does not change your chances.

5. Prizes

There are 10 prizes of 50 million AI tokens each. The tokens are added to the winner's GameDev Core account and do not expire. They are used in Ultimate Engine CoPilot for AI chat and hosted generation. A winner who does not own the plugin can use them once they have a license or a plan. Prizes cannot be exchanged for money or moved to another account.

6. How the winners are chosen

The draw is designed so that nobody, us included, can influence or predict it, and so that anyone can check it:

  1. When you enter, your entry gets a random id. You see it on the giveaway page.
  2. When entries close, the full list of entry ids is published at gamedevcore.com/api/giveaway/entries. It contains no names or emails.
  3. The randomness is the drand beacon run by the League of Entropy (quicknet chain 52db9ba70e0cc0f6…), at the first round published after the close: round 32,888,606. Nobody can know that value before it is published.
  4. Each entry's score is the SHA-256 hash, in lowercase hexadecimal, of its entry id followed by the round's randomness. The 10 lowest scores win.

To check the result yourself, take the randomness from https://api.drand.sh/52db9ba7…/public/<round> (the full chain hash is in the public record), compute the scores for the published entry ids and sort them. Rounds are published every 3 seconds from 2023-08-23.

7. Winners

Winners get the tokens on their account right after the draw, and we email them at their account's address. The giveaway page shows each entrant whether they won. If a winning entry is disqualified, its prize goes to the next-lowest score.

8. Your data

An entry stores your account id and the time you entered. Only the random entry id is ever published. The privacy policy covers the rest.

9. Changes

If something outside our control stops the giveaway from running as described, we may change or cancel it, and we will say so on this page.
