Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as GitHub Copilot?
No. GitHub Copilot completes code in your IDE. Ultimate Engine CoPilot works inside the Unreal Editor and builds Blueprints, materials, Niagara, PCG, UI and more, as well as C++. You can use GitHub Copilot as one of the AI options.
Which Unreal Engine versions does it support?
Unreal Engine 5.5 to 5.8 on Windows and macOS. It needs an engine installed through the Epic Games Launcher.
Can a team use it?
Yes. Teams buy seats with volume pricing and one invoice, and local models keep project data on the studio's own machines.
Who makes it?
BlueprintsLab, two developers who release roughly every two weeks and answer directly on Discord.
