An AI Blueprint generator that builds inside your project

A chatbot tells you which nodes to place. Ultimate Engine CoPilot places them: it writes the graph in your Blueprint, compiles it, checks that nothing else broke and shows every change in Unreal's own diff.

From a sentence to a working graph

You describe what the Blueprint should do. The AI works in your project, not in a text box: it reads your existing Blueprints and assets, writes whole functions or event graphs in one step, compiles them and fixes its own compile errors.

  • "Add a dash and a double jump to my third person character."
  • "Build a health component with damage, healing and a death event, replicated."
  • "Why does BP_Door never open? Fix it."

Version 2 builds a graph in one step instead of one node at a time, which is faster and cheaper to run, and it stops itself when graph builds keep failing instead of looping until the conversation is full.

It checks its own work

After each change the Blueprints it touched are checked, and the AI is told at once if something broke. In Crew, a reviewer agent checks every checkpoint against the success criteria you set before the step counts as done, and the plugin can play the level and report what actually happened.

You stay in control. Every edit appears in Unreal's diff, Ctrl+Z works, it asks before it changes things, and it works with Git, Perforce and Diversion.

Beyond a single Blueprint

  • Blueprint Analyst diagnoses an existing graph and explains what it does.
  • Animation Blueprints: the AI can expose hidden pins and bind them to variables.
  • Any system around it: Enhanced Input, data tables, widgets, behavior trees, materials, Niagara and Sequencer, so one prompt can cover the Blueprint and everything it touches.
  • Blueprint to C++: move a finished prototype to a compiling C++ class (see Blueprint to C++).

Which AI does it use?

Your choice. Use BpLabs Premium with a plan, your own API keys, a coding agent such as Claude Code or Codex through MCP, or a local model with Ollama or LM Studio. Bigger models build Blueprint logic more reliably; the local models page says exactly what small models managed in our tests.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with Blueprint-only projects?

Yes. Blueprint generation needs no C++. Only the Blueprint to C++ feature needs a project with a Source folder.

Will it break my project?

It asks before it edits, shows every change in Unreal's diff, supports Ctrl+Z and works with Git, Perforce and Diversion. A reviewer step in Crew checks the result before a step counts as done.

How is this different from asking ChatGPT or Claude?

A chatbot cannot see or touch your project, so it describes where to click and can invent node names. This plugin works inside the editor with native tools and checks the result.

Which Unreal Engine versions are supported?

Unreal Engine 5.5, 5.6, 5.7 and 5.8, on Windows and macOS.
